Frequently asked questions
Does the 131 inch U-shaped sectional sofa have a metal frame?
No, this sectional uses boneless construction with sponge foam filling rather than a metal frame inside the seating areas. It does have metal legs that support the sofa at the base. The all-foam build provides a softer, more flexible feel compared to traditional frame-based sofas.
Can this U-shaped sectional convert into a bed?
Yes, the 131-inch U-shaped sectional converts into a sleeping surface. The boneless foam construction and modular design allow the sections to be reconfigured from sofa to bed. The specific conversion method depends on the arrangement of the modular sections.
Are the covers removable on this sectional?
Yes, the fabric covers on this sectional are removable and washable. This feature makes it easier to maintain and clean the sofa over time. The covers are available in three colour options: Dark Grey, Black, and Rice White.
What does boneless construction mean for this sofa?
Boneless construction means the sofa uses sponge foam filling throughout instead of a traditional wooden or metal internal frame. This all-foam build creates a softer, more yielding seating feel and allows for more flexible configuration options, including the conversion to a sleeping surface.
How wide is this U-shaped sectional?
This U-shaped sectional measures 131 inches in width. The sofa is configured in a U-shaped layout with modular sections that include metal legs for base support. The specific dimensions of individual sections depend on the modular arrangement.
Is this a good U-shaped cloud couch alternative?
Yes, if you want the cloud-couch look and feel in a big U shape on a budget: it is boneless and all-foam with modular sections, 131 inches wide, and costs US$529.99. If you would rather have deeper seats or an L shape, see our Cloud L-Shape with reversible chaise (29.6" deep seats), the Cloud Deep-Seat Sofa or the whole modular sofas range.
Is it a sofa in a box? Will it fit through a narrow door?
It ships vacuum-compressed, so it arrives packed down rather than as one finished U-shaped piece. Check your doorway, stairs and lift first with our will-it-fit delivery guide.
How fast does it ship, and do you ship outside the US?
It is US stock: free delivery to US addresses, dispatched from our US warehouse the next business day and delivered in 2–7 business days. This item ships to US addresses only.
Is it pet-friendly?
The covers are removable and washable, which helps with fur and accidents, but this fabric is not sold as scratch-resistant. If you have a dog or cat that scratches, browse our pet-friendly couches.
